As a step towards the institutionalization and internalization of quality in education, an IQAC was formed in the college as per the guidelines of NAAC, in the year 2000.

A semester-wise review of examination results, and a discussion of measures to improve student performance, are undertaken by each department and the IQAC, to ensure that any shortcomings or flaws in performance and evaluation are taken care of. Student Quality Circles (SQCs) have been constituted to ensure that the most important stakeholders – the students – are involved in the decision-making process and are able to express their views on matters concerning them.
Best practices, irrespective of where they originate are recorded at the IQAC and the ideas get disseminated across every function of the institution ensuring that best practices are internalized and get woven into the very fabric of the institution.
The principal of the college is the chairperson of the cell, and one of the faculty members is the IQAC coordinator. The cell includes also heads of departments, and representatives from alumnae, industry and academia, along with representatives from the management and students. IQAC Team for Academic Year 2020-21
