The Department of Biotechnology has been pivotal in achieving academic excellence by providing quality education and research-based learning to encourage the students reach pinnacle of success.

The department of Biotechnology has grown enormously since its inception in 2003, catering to the needs of the students, updating the course syllabi, keeping abreast with the rapid pace of advancement in the field of biotechnology. The department prepares the students to confidently face competitive exams by imparting the basics of biotechnology. We also encourage them to take up research projects in reputed institutes across India giving them practical exposure. The Department lays emphasis on building an industry-academia interface, giving our students a scope to broaden their horizons and identify a relevant career in the field of Biotechnology.
