The department of electronics aims at developing young women for the electronic industry and academia.
The department of Electronics was started in the year 1995. Currently, the department offers a three-year UG programme, with Mathematics , Electronics and Computer Science as major subjects. Besides offering core papers to students of B.Sc. Electronics, the Department offers Generic Elective papers to students of other disciplines, and Microprocessor and Microcontroller paper to M.Sc. Computer Science students. The Department admits over 65 students every year in B.Sc electronics stream. To keep pace with changing technology the department of electronics has actively engaged students through academic workshops , seminars, interactive experiential field trips and guest lecture.
