    FIELD VISITS & STUDY TOURS
  • Field trip to “Medicinal Garden at CCRUM (The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine)” on 4 th September 2023 with GE second year students accompanied by Dr. S. Revathi
  • Field trip to “Agri Biotech Foundation” on 5 th February 2024 with BSc. BZC and ANBC Third year students accompanied by Dr. Basanti.Ch and Dr. S. Revathi.
  • Study tour to Mysore and Coorg was organised from 3 rd November to 7 th November, 2023 with 70 students of life sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biotechnolgy & Nutrition) accompanied by Dr. Basanti, Dr. Jyothi Rani, Ms. Sheila, Ms. Sravanthi, Ms. Mini and Ms. Indu Bhargavi.
  • A group of 38 students of II-year BZC and ANBC Botany students, visited Telangana State Medicinal Plant Board on September 6, 2024. The students were accompanied by Dr. Basanti.Ch Head, Department of Botany and Dr. S. Revathi, Faculty, Department of Botany.
  • A group of 34 students from B. Sc BZC and ANBC III Year, visited the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad, Gachibowli, for a field visit on 12 th February 2025.
  • A group of 70 students (B.Sc. BZC, ANBC, ANZC, BTZC and P.G nutrition) with 4 faculty members visited Manali in the month of November 2024.
    • GUEST LECTURES
    • “Recent Trends in Medicinal Plant Research” by resource person Dr. Mohd Kashif Husain on December 2 nd , 2023 for the students of B. Sc BZC and ANBC-first, second and third year.
    • “Career Insights: An interactive session with our Alumna” was conducted on July 16, 2024 by the Department of Botany. It was attended by 30 students and 2 faculty members.
    • “Herbal Formulations for Active Lifestyle” was organised on August 24, 2024 by the Department of Botany. Around 60 non-teaching staff participated in the program.
