Accounting and Finance is a three-year undergraduate degree that provides a deep understanding of core accounting principles, financial management, and business operations, equipping students with skills for roles like accountant, financial analyst, and tax advisor. The curriculum covers financial accounting, taxation, budgeting, and market dynamics, preparing graduates for the dynamic business and finance sectors through both theoretical knowledge and practical application. B Com Accounting and Finance has a vast scope, including banking, insurance, investment, tax consultancy, auditing, and financial planning opportunities. Graduates can also pursue higher studies or professional certifications to further enhance their prospects.

What will you Learn?

Be completely acquainted with all branches of accounting required for a B.Com degree and have a thorough understanding of basic papers in finance.

Have exposure to computerized accounting and current trends in accounting and finance.

Have exposure to solving real time, practical problems/cases, which will form part of skill assessment relating to (a) Cost Accounting (b) Taxation (c) BRS (d)Rectification of errors (e)final accounts of a partnership firm/ Company

Be able to critically evaluate and analyze financial statements.

Have an overview of Indian Accounting standards.
