Research Cell

The Research Cell of St. Francis College for Women (Autonomous), is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, inquiry, and academic excellence. Guided by the college’s mission to create intellectually competent women citizens, the cell promotes scientific and social research among faculty and students. It serves as the central body for coordinating all research-related activities under the leadership of the Principal.

The Research Cell encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and ethical research practices aligned with ICMR and ICSSR guidelines. It supports faculty and students in pursuing doctoral, post-doctoral, and funded research projects. By organizing conferences, workshops, and encouraging publications in reputed journals, the cell enhances the research profile of the institution. It also facilitates guidance, mentorship, and infrastructural support for emerging scholars. Through its initiatives, the Research Cell nurtures innovation and contributes to national and global academic development.
