The B.Sc. Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry (BtMbC) program is a dynamic interdisciplinary course that bridges the domains of life sciences and chemical sciences. It offers students a strong foundation in biotechnology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, and analytical chemistry, while emphasizing experiential learning through advanced laboratory training and research-oriented practices. This program is designed to nurture analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise, enabling students to excel in both academia and industry. Graduates are well-prepared for diverse career pathways in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food technology, healthcare, and environmental sciences.

What will you Learn?

Strong foundation in applied courses of biotechnology. Essential practical skills such as laboratory handling, experimental design, and biotechnology techniques.

Microbiology aims to understand Bacterial taxonomy and the general characteristics of different groups of microorganisms. Understand basic principles of medical microbiology, mechanisms of infectious disease, and diagnostic microbiology.

Chemistry imparts comprehensive scientific knowledge and practical laboratory expertise. Cultivates analytical skills, equipping graduates for research and diverse professional roles.

Develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for effective decision-making and organizational challenges in biotechnology, microbiology research, and chemical analysis.

Be capable of working in groups and understanding interpersonal & team dynamics in laboratory research and collaborative scientific projects.
