Overview of the Course

Mass Communication/Literature/Political Science (MLP)

History Image

Mass Communication, Literature, and Political Science (MLP) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate programme designed to equip students with critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills essential for understanding contemporary society. This course integrates the study of media and communication practices with the richness of literary traditions and the dynamics of political thought. Students gain a strong foundation in journalism, media studies, public relations, and digital communication, while also exploring diverse literary genres, critical theories, and interpretive methods. At the same time, they engage with political ideologies, comparative politics, and international relations to understand governance, public policy, and power structures.

Literature Image

The curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, combining lectures with seminars, workshops, media labs, field visits, and research projects. By examining the intersections between communication, literature, and politics, students learn to analyze how narratives shape public opinion, cultural identities, and political discourse. Training in writing, media production, and research methods further strengthens their ability to express ideas effectively across platforms.

Politics Image

Graduates are well-prepared for careers in journalism, digital media, publishing, advertising, public relations, civil services, cultural institutions, political consultancy, and higher studies. The MLP programme empowers women to become effective communicators, critical thinkers, and informed professionals contributing meaningfully to academia, media, and public life.
