About CCGP

The Placement Cell, officially known as the CENTRE FOR CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENTS (CCGP), was incorporated in the year 1999. The CCGP team functions to coordinate internship opportunities for 2nd and 3rd year UG students and PG students. Students from UG and PG final years are eligible to apply for campus placements.

Around 600 students register for placements every year of which more than 60% get placed with packages ranging from ₹3 LPA to ₹24 LPA per annum. CCGP continues to strive towards equipping the students to face the challenges required in the current market.

The CCGP's primary role is to organize training sessions to enhance students' technical and soft skills, coordinating with companies to conduct campus placement drives, and providing career guidance and counselling to the students.

Technical Seminars

Topics: Digital Marketing, Cyber Security, Block chain, Full Stack Development, Cloud Computing, Mobile Application Development, Nutrition, AI/ML, Data Science, Media and Creative Arts, IELTS Masterclass etc.

Corporate Connect

Sessions where Personnel from various firms interact directly with students. CCGP has organised CONNECT events with ACCENTURE, GOLDMAN SACHS, INVESCO, DELOITTE etc.

Placement Procedure

Career Guidance Session

A career guidance session is organised for all 2nd and 3rd UG Students & PG Students to enlighten them about various career options. Successful personnel from various fields are invited to give their insights at the orientation.

Registration

Students who are interested for placements will have to register their names through the official college website. All further information regarding placements and internships will come through the Placement cell.

Training Sessions

The registered students will undergo CRT (Campus Recruitment Training) Sessions and Aptitude classes. Corporate Connects are organised to give the students an opportunity to connect directly with working Professionals.

Orientation

The students are given a brief session on the recruitment process.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment drives may happen in the college premises or done online based on the requirement of the recruiters. The hiring process will vary between recruiters.

Selections

On completing the recruitment process, the recruiters will notify the list of selected candidates to the placement cell which will be conveyed to the students. The college follows one-offer letter policy. Students who are given an offer will not be allowed to sit for further placements.
