About us

The Forum for Innovation and Research in Economics is a student-led platform that fosters analytical thinking, research aptitude, and innovative approaches to understanding economic concepts and gain deeper knowledge about economic issues. The club provides a space for students to explore emerging trends in economics through interactive learning and collaborative research. FIRE regularly organizes guest lectures, paper presentations, debates, workshops, data analysis sessions, and field-based studies to enhance students’ academic and practical understanding of the subject. It serves as a bridge between classroom learning and real-world economic applications, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and critical inquiry. The annual fest AGNI is conducted every year in the month of December through various competitions to bring in awareness and knowledge about the subject to the entire college.
