About Us

HARIVILLU club is the Telugu club of St. Francis College for women established in year 2010. It is the literary and cultural club of Telugu. Every year the club organizes many literary and cultural activities in Telugu to inculcate and cultivate the local traditions among students. The Telugu day is celebrated every year and the club releases an annual literary magazine HRUDAYA SANDESHAM and News letter KADAMBAM

Vision

  • To strengthen the confidence levels of the students by encouraging them to appreciate the value of our culture and tradition సంస్కృతి సంప్రదాయాలు.

Mission

  • To enable students to develop critical perspectives దృష్టికోణం and life skills by introducing them to selected texts of ancient and modern Telugu literature.
  • To hone speaking and writing skills in Telugu and prepare students for professional sphere.
  • To look into the holistic development of the students, instil moral values and shape them as responsible individuals and members of society.

Motto

Department of Telugu, Harivillu Club is a popular society that organizes Telugu Cultural and Literary events. The main motto is "E=MC²": Education is Morals and Strong Character. Prepare the students as leaders with moral values for the preservation, promotion and awareness of contemporary social issues, Ethics of Telugu Language Literature and Culture.
