About Us

La Fiesta, the Arts and English department club of St. Francis College for Women, is a creative club that celebrates literature and expression. It comprises four distinct wings - Bibliophile Wing fosters literary discussions and analyses, Francis Poets Society allows a space for expressing through poetry, Silver Screen Society explores film through screenings and analyses, Drama Wing showcases theatre through nukkad naatak and proscenium. Together, La Fiesta is a place where art in all its forms comes alive.

For many years, the Computer Science Department successfully organized a dynamic calendar of events, including workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and national fests. These activities were unified under the banner of "C@nnect," symbolizing the department's focus on Computer, Technology, and Innovation. The events consistently drew enthusiastic participation from students both within the college and from external institutions.Recognizing the need to institutionalize this successful engagement, the department formally established the "C@nnect Club" last academic year. This new interdisciplinary student organization inducted dedicated student members from various Computer Science streams as its first Office Bearers.
