Rhetoric

About us

Rhetoric, the student club of the department of Political Science was set up in 2012 with the purpose of encouraging experiential and participative learning outside the domain of classroom through extra-curricular events. The club annually conducts competitions that include debate, elocution, essay writing, quiz, poster-making, etc. and other events like screening of films, and MUN. The themes chosen are related to contemporary socio-political and economic issues of the country and the world. The aim has always been to stimulate the creative and analytical skills of the students. Rhetoric initiated its Wall Magazine – Politiko Kosmos - in 2018 as an effort to facilitate the young talent for critical thinking and creative writing.
