History Image

This program brings together the dynamic fields of Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry, offering a comprehensive foundation in the applied life sciences. With an innovation-driven research culture and industry-focused learning, the curriculum strengthens global career readiness and supports higher-education aspirations. Students gain hands-on scientific expertise, analytical thinking, and practical skills that align with emerging industry demands, making this discipline highly relevant and career-focused.

Elective and skill-enhancement modules foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and startup development, empowering students to pursue both professional and entrepreneurial pathways. As a constantly evolving science that fuels breakthroughs in healthcare, technology, and sustainability, Chemistry plays a central role in advancing society—from developing life-saving medicines to designing eco-friendly materials and addressing global challenges.

Through an in-depth study of molecular processes, the program deepens understanding of human health, disease mechanisms, and therapeutic applications. Graduates are prepared for diverse and rewarding career opportunities in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, research institutions, diagnostics, academia, and allied fields, with a strong foundation to pursue advanced studies globally.

What will you Learn?

Strong foundation in cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, and biochemistry, complemented with applied courses in biotechnology such as rDNA technology, bioprocessing, and bioinformatics.

Essential practical skills such as laboratory handling, experimental design, and biotechnology techniques.

Learn the molecular basis of life, including biomolecules, metabolism, endocrinology, diseases, nutrition, plant, and pharmaceutical biochemistry.

Gain practical skills in enzymology, bioinformatics, analytical techniques, clinical diagnostics, and research methodology through labs and project work.

A chemistry degree covers core branches like Organic, Inorganic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry, providing deep theoretical knowledge and practical lab experience in areas such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, spectroscopy, thermodynamics, kinetics, and synthesis.

Cultivate transferable skills—like problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking—that are highly valued in both scientific research and diverse professional fields.

Career Prospects

  • Diverse Careers & Higher Studies - Graduates can work in research, healthcare, agriculture, industry, environment, and bioinformatics, or pursue advanced degrees (MSc, MS, PhD), competitive exams, and global opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurship & Academia – With support from incubators and funding, students can develop startups, innovate life science products, and also build careers in teaching, research, and academic leadership.
  • Chemistry Educator, Research Fellow, Lab/Project Assistant, Computational Chemist, Patent Officer, Quality Control Officer, Food Safety Officer and Regulatory Affairs Specialist. Scientist, Forensic Scientist, Analytical Chemist, Toxicologist, Process Chemist, Materials Scientist, R&D Chemist and Scientific Consultant.
