St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad, and Anderson University in Indiana, USA, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster academic and cultural collaboration. This MoU outlines collaborative efforts in student and faculty exchange, short-term programs, joint research initiatives, and degree programs like 2+2, 3+1, and 1+1 MBA structures. Notably, Anderson University will accept students from St. Francis for a Cybersecurity Certificate and a 1+1 MBA program, with mutual articulation agreements ensuring academic alignment. Benefits for students include waived English testing requirements and academic advising support. The agreement is valid for five years and aims to enhance global educational opportunities while supporting strategic development initiatives in both India and the U.S. A key outcome of this partnership was the launch of a “Cyber Security Certificate Course” conducted from June 18 to July 19, 2024, for students at St. Francis College. Six students enrolled in this online course, which was conducted every Tuesday and Friday by Matthew Burch, Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at Anderson University.
