Since 2017, the Department of Public Administration has been offering internship opportunities to all interested students in collaboration with the think tank - Centre for Human Security Studies (CHSS). These internships provide rich exposure to governance, policy research, and fieldwork, along with opportunities to interact with serving and retired IAS, IPS, and IFS officers. Over eighty (80) students have benefitted from this initiative, bridging the gap between theory and practice while enhancing their research and analytical skills. Many have also secured employment opportunities with CHSS based on their performance. Several student research papers have been published in CHSS in-house journals and reputed volumes such as Mittal Publications. CHSS has also extended its partnership through a Faculty Exchange Programme, further strengthening academic collaboration. In the academic year 2024–25, eight students from the 2022–25 batch continued this legacy of academic excellence and experiential learning.
