Visionary Innovators for Vital Animal Nature and Taxonomy

About Us

VIVANT (Visionary Innovators for Vital Animal Nature and Taxonomy) is the official academic club of the Department of Zoology, established with the objective of fostering scientific inquiry, innovation, leadership, and environmental stewardship among students. The club serves as a vibrant platform for experiential learning, enabling students to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications through academic, research, outreach, and skill-development activities.

Aligned with the vision of St. Francis College for Women, VIVANT seeks to nurture competent, compassionate, and socially responsible graduates who are committed to biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and scientific excellence. The club promotes interdisciplinary learning and provides opportunities for students to interact with scientists, researchers, industry experts, and conservationists through seminars, workshops, field studies, internships, and collaborative programmes.
