About The Department of Commerce, St. Francis College for Women was established in the year of 1972. The department has grown over the years and now boasts of a strong, well qualified and dedicated team of 21 staff members. The department is currently offering one PG program and 5 UG programs to an average of 1050 students every year. The department is the first in the twin cities to include project work in its UG curriculum since 1992. Department of Commerce, is satiating the thirst for knowledge in students by constantly engaging them in various intellectual pursuits and equipping them with skills to face the challenges in academics and beyond.

Cofee club The Commerce Organization for Emerging Entrepreneurs (COFEE) was established in 2002 at St. Francis College for Women, as one of the most influential student clubs within the college's Commerce Department.Over the years, COFEE has become vital in empowering students to explore and develop their entrepreneurial skills. At its core, COFEE aims to provide a platform where students can engage in experiential learning, moving beyond the confines of traditional academic study.
