The Department of Mathematics in St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, established in 1968, is dedicated to excellence in instruction, research, and community involvement. Often called the "language of the universe," mathematics is vital in developing the logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills necessary for a wide range of academic fields. The Department offers several BSc programs that combine Mathematics with Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Electronics, Statistics, and Physics with the goal of fostering a lifelong appreciation for the beauty and power of mathematics while fostering a thorough understanding of mathematical principles.
