Overview

Established in 1959, the Department offers comprehensive undergraduate programs in Public Administration, integrated with disciplines of Economics, History, Political Science and Psychology. Its academic focus spans critical areas including Administrative Theory, Public Policy, Human Resource Management and Governance. With a strong orientation towards research, policy analysis, and experiential learning, the curriculum is structured to develop advanced analytical, managerial and leadership capabilities. It equips students with the requisite knowledge and skills for effective engagement in governance across local, state, national, and international levels, while providing a solid foundation for careers in civil services, public administration, and policy-making domains.
