Overview

The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at St. Francis College for Women fosters student growth through hands-on learning, industry exposure, and creative exploration. Established in 1997, the department has expanded its academic offerings over the years, including the launch of a Master’s program in 2011. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the department emphasizes real-world media skills through workshops, guest lectures, and outreach programs. Students engage in content creation, research, and competitions, making the department a vibrant hub of academic excellence and holistic development.
