The Department of English Language and Literature in St. Francis College for Women, established in 1959, is a trendsetting department focused on enhancing communication skills and personality development.

With a vision to nurture young minds for holistic development and lifelong learning in Language and Literature, the department offers various BA programs with Literature combined with History, Psychology, Mass Communication and Political Science.
