Rangers

A Ranger is the senior section of the Guide Wing under the Bharat Scouts and Guides, designed for young women. Aspiring Rangers begin their journey as Ranger candidates, undergo intensive training and pravesh (initiation) trials, and upon successful completion, emerge as full-fledged Rangers.

The motto of the Rangers is "Service", reflecting strong community and civic involvement. The Ranger movement is rooted in building physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual potential while nurturing responsible citizenship and global awareness. It aligns with the association's broader Promise and Law, focusing on values like loyalty, helpfulness, courage, discipline, and purity.

Rangers wing is offered to all first year U.G. students across all streams. The students who register for Rangers should put in 60 hours of Rangers attendance by participating in the activities conducted by the wing.
